NYX Eyeshadow Palette Swatches + Review: NYX 'For Your Eyes Only' Mysterious Brown Eyes Palette

Well in my previous FOTD post (here)
I tried out NYX 'For Brown Eyes Only' Palette (here)

... And I was pretty disappointed with the results.

When I swiped my brush into the palette I was excited thinking, THIS IS GUNNA BE SOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD............... 

But to my surprise only 2 out of all 10 colors were pigmented (or close) and all the other ones were meh, 

Without applying primer, I couldn't do anything with them!

I guess this palette should really be left for puuuure highlighting..... unless .... you add water :D HEHE

But... This NYX Palette really let me down, I guess the single eyeshadows are much much much better.

I was just really drawn to the colors on this one....

Okay so here we go!

Packaging:

I closed it to take a picture of the outside, then upon opening had accidentally slipped my finger in :(

Oh and it has a mirror! ^^^

Swatches:

I swatched these with 3 swipes with my finger

All of these shades except for the dark brown (on right) are shimmery/glittery.

pros:

* affordable ($8 from CC)

* easy to blend
*has palettes available suitable for all eye colors

cons:

* poor pigmentation compared to nyx single eyeshadows
*hard to find- purchase online

This palette didn't really do it for me, but with such a low price there's really nothing I can complain about. The 4th shade shown is my favourite though! Great for highlighting!

Would I repurchase? Probably not... Unless they come out with palettes exactly like their single eyeshadows ☺
